Peggy Heustis

With over 17 years of landscaping and garden center experience, Peggy brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and creativity to your landscape project.  Her repeat customers will tell you that Peggy gives each client personal attention and has an ability to help bring the vision in your head to the landscape in your yard.  Over the years, she has gained a broad knowledge of which plants will do the job in your landscape.   Peggy understands that many of her customers want a low maintenance landscape that is also beautiful and interesting and she knows how to make that a reality for you!  As an added bonus, she knows all the tricks needed to minimize the chances that local deer will eat your landscape for lunch!  If your home needs a fresh look or an entirely new landscape, call Peggy.

In addition to residential landscaping, Peggy designs commercial landscapes and brings her experienced crew to install the job in an efficient and timely manner.  Some recent commercial work includes churches, hospitals, and libraries.  Because of her many years in the profession, Peggy has reliable network of contractors who work with her and is able to provide you complete landscaping services.

Growing up in Louisville, Peggy attended Sacred Heart Academy and has a degree in Public Administration from Indiana University and a Master’s of City Planning from The Ohio State University. Before moving into landscape design work, she spent 10 years helping small towns in Ohio and Indiana revitalize downtown areas with fresh building facades, sidewalks, lighting and street trees. This experience is a perfect fit with residential and commercial landscaping and gives her a perspective that sets her apart from many of her peers.

Peggy lives in St. Matthews and is mom to two active teenage children.  She spends her spare time hiking with several area hiking clubs and is active with the YMCA Camp Piomingo  Alumni  Association.
